Offshore Minerals (Registration Fees) Act 2003

Offshore Minerals (Registration Fees) Regulations 2010

1.Citation

These regulations are the Offshore Minerals (Registration Fees) Regulations 2010.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

• (a)

  regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;

• (b)

  the rest of the regulations — on the day on which the provisions of the Offshore Minerals Act 2003, other than sections 1 and 2, come into operation.

3.Prescribed percentage for s. 4(1)

For the purposes of section 4(1) of the Act, the prescribed percentage is 1.5%.

4.Prescribed minimum amount for s. 4(3)

For the purposes of section 4(3) of the Act, the prescribed minimum amount is $600.

5.Prescribed amount for s. 6(1)

For the purposes of section 6(1) of the Act, the prescribed amount is $3 000.

6.Prescribed amount for s. 7(1)

For the purposes of section 7(1) of the Act, the prescribed amount is $3 000.
