I, the Governor, acting under section 2 of the Official Corruption Commission Amendment Act 1996, and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, fix the day on which this proclamation is published in the Government Gazette as the day on which the provisions of that Act except sections 6 to 8, 10 to 18, 20 to 24 and 25 (other than the item amending the definitions of "Commission" and "the Fund" and the item amending the Part I1 heading) come into operation.
