OFFICERS’ COMPENSATION.

No. 27 of 1915.

An Act to provide for Compensation to be paid on Retirement or on Decease of certain Officers of the Commonwealth.

[Assented to 25th August, 1915.]

Preamble.

BE it enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, for the purpose of appropriating the grant originated in the House of Representatives, as follows:—

Short title.

1. This Act may be cited as the Officers’ Compensation Act 1915.

Payments to be made.

2.There shall be paid out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund, which is hereby appropriated accordingly, the following sums:—

To the widow of Harold C. Dannevig, formerly Director of Fisheries....	£1,128	0	0
To the widow or children of Colonel H. Le Mesurier, formerly Commandant, Military Forces, South Australia...............................................................	362	10	0
To the widow of Lieutenant-Colonel C. J. Reade, C.B., formerly officer on exchange in Canada (in addition to £100 already paid).................................	450	0	0
To the widow of H. C. Bright, formerly Letter Carrier, Mitcham, South Australia	60	0	0
To the father of J. Hamilton, formerly labourer, Woodlark Island..........	390	0	0
To the widow of James Charles Edge, formerly carpenter, Woodlark Island	468	0	0
