Office of the Regulator-General

(Amendment) Act 1997†

[Assented to 13 May 1997]

The Parliament of Victoria enacts as follows:

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Act is to amend the Office of the Regulator-General Act 1994 to clarify certain provisions of the Act.

2. Commencement

This Act comes into operation on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.

3. Amendment of section 27AA

For section 27AA(a) of the Office of the
Regulator-General Act 1994 substitute—

"(a) that is provided to the Office by the holder of

a licence issued by the Office under this Act
or any relevant legislation in accordance

with the requirements of the licence; or".

4. Amendment of section 39A

(1) In section 39A(1) of the Office of the Regulator-

General Act 1994 after "under" insert ", or in connection with,".

(2) In section 39A(3)(a) of the Office of the

Regulator-General Act 1994 after "Act" insert

"or any relevant legislation".
