AN ACT to amend the Offenders Community Corrections

Act 1963.

[Assented to 10 October 1994.1

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Offenders Community

Corrections Amendment Act 1994.

Commencement

2.     This Act comes into operation on such day as is fixed by

proclamation.

Section 50% amended

3. Section 50X (2) of the Offenders Community Corrections Act 1963* is amended by deleting paragraph (b) and substituting the following paragraph —

(b) the prisoner has been in custody under sentence for a continuous period of not less than 12 months;
