I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Occupational Superannuation Standards Act 1987.

Amendment of Statutory Rules 1988 No. 255

Statutory Rules 1988 No. 255 are amended by adding at the end the following regulation:

Certificate by approved auditor—transitional arrangement

“2. In spite of the amendment of the Schedule to the Occupational Superannuation Standards Regulations effected by the preceding regulation, and without prejudice to the operation of Form 2 in that Schedule as in force on and after 21 October 1988, a certificate by an approved auditor in accordance with Form 2 in that Schedule as in force immediately before that day continues, for the purposes of subparagraph 12 (1) (a) (iii) of the Act, to be a certificate by an approved auditor in the prescribed form in respect of the year of income that commenced on 1 July 1986.”.
