Occupational Superannuation Standards Regulations 2(Amendment)

  

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the OccupationalSuperannuation StandardsAct 1987.

1.  Commencement

 

1.1  These Regulations are taken to have commenced on 1 July 1990.

 

2.  Amendment

2.1  The Occupational Superannuation Standards Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

 

3.  Regulation 24 (Form of certificate by trustees and approved

auditors)

3.1  After subregulation 24 (2), insert:

 

 “(2a) A certificate referred to in subregulation (2) that:

• (a)

  is incorporated in the printed text of a form of annual return made available by the Commissioner; and

• (b)

  as printed, does not contain the words ‘in accordance with the Australian Auditing Standards’;

is effective, for all purposes, as if it included those words.”.
