Occupational Safety and Health Amendment

Regulations (No. 5) 2010

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Occupational Safety and Health
Amendment Regulations (No. 5) 2010.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Occupational Safety and Health
Regulations 1996.

4.             Regulation 3.62 amended

Delete regulation 3.62(a) and (b) and “and” after paragraph (a)
and insert:

(a) in the case of a test that is required to be carried out under an electrical worker’s licence or permit under the Electricity (Licensing) Regulations 1991 —

(i)      the person’s name; and

(ii)      the person’s licence or permit number;

or

(b) under an electrical worker’s licence or permit

in the case of a test that need not be carried out Regulations 1991 —

(i)      the person’s name; and

(ii)      if the person holds an electrical worker’s licence or permit — the person’s licence or permit number.
