Occupational Safety and Health Act 1984

Occupational Safety and Health Amendment

Regulations 2010

Made by the Lieutenant-Governor and Administrator in Executive
Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Occupational Safety and Health
Amendment Regulations 2010.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Occupational Safety and Health
Regulations 1996.

4.             Regulation 5.42 amended

In regulation 5.42(1) in the definition of restricted licence
delete “5.45B” and insert

5.45B;

5.             Regulation 5.46 amended

Delete regulation 5.46(1)(a) and “and” after it and insert:

(a) on being granted the licence must, unless the licence is taken to have been granted in accordance with regulation 5.53A(2), notify the Commissioner of the name, address and date of birth of any person employed or otherwise engaged by the licensee to do work involving friable asbestos-containing material; and
