Occupational Safety and Health Amendment
(COVID-19 Response) Regulations 2020

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.
1. Citation
These regulations are the Occupational Safety and Health
Amendment (COVID-19 Response) Regulations 2020.2. Commencement
These regulations come into operation as follows -
(a)
regulations 1 and 2—on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette (gazettal day);
(b) regulation 5 - on 1 April 2021; (c)
the rest of the regulations - on the day after gazettal day.
These regulations amend the Occupational Safety and Health

4. Regulation 2.14A inserted
At the end of Part 2 Division 2 insert:
2.14A. Waiver and refund of fees in response to COVID-19
pandemic
(1) In this regulation — commencement day means the day the Occupational Safety and Health Amendment (COVID-19 Response) Regulations 2020 regulation 4 comes into operation; designated fee means a fee set out in Schedule 6.1, 6.1A, 6.2, 6.2A or 6.4. (2) Despite any other provision of these regulations, the
designated fees are waived during the period beginning
on commencement day and ending on 31 March 2021.(3) If a person paid a designated fee during the period
beginning on 1 April 2020 and ending on the day
before commencement day, the Commissioner must
refund the fee to the person.
5. Regulation 2.14A deleted
