AND WELFARE AMENDMENT ACT

No. 84 of 1990

AN ACT to amend the Occupational Health, Safety and

Welfare Act 1984.

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Occupational Health, Safety and

Welfare Amendment Act 1990.

Section 4 of Occupational Health,

Safety and Welfare Act 1984 amended

2. Section 4 of the Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare Act 1984* is amended by inserting after subsection (2) the following subsection

C'

(2a) Subsection (2) does not prevent a provision of Part II from applying in relation to a workplace that is, or at which work is carried out on, a mine to which the Mining Act 1978, the Mines Regulation Act 1946, or the Coal Mines Regulation Act 1946, applies. ".
