Occupational Health and Safety Amendment (Paraquat Dichloride) Regulations 2024
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017 to further provide for the threshold quantities of paraquat dichloride at a facility.
2Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 158 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004.
3Schedule 14—Materials and their threshold quantities
After item 39 in Table 1 in Schedule 14 to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017[1] insert—
"39A PARAQUAT DICHLORIDE equal to or greater than 10% concentration CAS No. 1910-42-5 80 39B PARAQUAT DICHLORIDE less than 10% concentration CAS No. 1910-42-5 200".
