Occupational Health and Safety Amendment (Crystalline Silica) Interim Regulations 2020

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of Part 4.5 (Crystalline silica) of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017, which would otherwise expire on 19 August 2020, for 6 months.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 158 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004.

3Application of Part

In regulation 319A(1) of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017[1], for "19 August 2020" substitute "19 February 2021".
