An Act relating to the definition of the National Literature Board of Review; for this purpose to amend the Obscene and Indecent Publications Act, 1901-1967; to validate certain matters; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 10th October, 1968.]

"D E it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: —

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the “Obscene and short title.

( 2) The Obscene and Indecent Publications Act, 190L as subsequently amended and as amended by this Act, may be cited as the Obscene and Indecent Publications Act, 1901­ 1968.

(3) This Act shall be deemed to have commenced on the eleventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and sixty-eight.
