Oaths (Commercial Arbitration) Amendment 1984

BK it enacted by the Otieen's Most h\.cellent Majesty, by and \uth the advice and consent of the Legislative C ouncil and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliajnent assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows; —

Short title.

I.           This Act may be cited as the "Oaths (Commercial .Arbitration i

Amendtnent Act. 1984”

Commencement.

2.      (I) Sections I and 2 shall commence on the date of assent to this Act

(2) Except as provided by sub.scction i 1 ). this Act shall commence on the day appointed and notified under section 2 (2i of the (.iniimerual •Arbitration Act, 1984

Amendment of .Act No. 20, 1900.

3. The Oaths Act. 1900. is amended by inserting in section 26 ( I i aftei

the words "New South Wales" the words "or for the purpose of any

arbitration".
