CaseChat Overview and Summary
The Commission considered whether the agreement met the minimum terms and conditions set out in the relevant award and whether it provided for fair and reasonable terms of employment. The Commission also considered whether the agreement was made in good faith and whether it was appropriate for the circumstances of the employees. The Commission found that the agreement met the requirements of the Fair Work Act and provided for fair and reasonable terms of employment. The Commission also found that the agreement was made in good faith and was appropriate for the circumstances of the employees.
As a result, the Commission approved the Nutrimetics Enterprise Agreement 2016, which will now apply to the employees of Nutrimetics Australia Pty Ltd. The approval of the agreement means that the terms and conditions of employment for the employees will be governed by the agreement, rather than the relevant award. This decision provides clarity and certainty for both the employer and employees, and ensures that the agreement is fair and reasonable for all parties involved.
