REGULATIONS 1968, No. 11*

1.  Regulation 7 of the Nursing Regulations is amended— (a) by adding at the end of paragraph (/) the word " and ";

(b) by omitting from paragraph (g) the word "and" (last occurring); and
(c) by omitting paragraph (h).

2. Regulation 8 of the Nursing Regulations is amended by omitting paragraph 3. Regulation 12 of the Nursing Regulations is amended by omitting from paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (1.) the word "eighteen" and inserting in its stead the word " seventeen ".

4. Regulation 15 of the Nursing Regulations is amended by omitting the

proviso.

5.—(1.) Regulation 22 of the Nursing Regulations is repealed and the follow- ing regulation inserted in its stead:—

" 22. A person is not eligible to present herself for examination at an examina- tion held by the Board unless—

(a)

she has made application to the Board, in accordance with a form approved by the Board and made available to applicants for the purpose, to be examined at that examination at least seven days before the date fixed for holding the examination;

(b) she has paid the prescribed fee for the examination; and

(c)

she has furnished to the Board such evidence of her age and her educational qualifications, and such other information, as is indicated on the form.".

(2.) A person who, before the commencement of these Regulations, had duly made application to the Board to present herself for examination at an examina- tion to be held by the Board after the commencement of these Regulations is, notwithstanding the amendment of the Nursing Regulations effected by the last preceding sub-regulation, eligible to present herself for examination at that examination.

6. Regulation 24 of the Nursing Regulations is repealed.

7. Regulation 26 of the Nursing Regulations is repealed and the following regulation inserted in its stead:—

" 26. A candidate at an examination held by the Board may be required to answer questions in writing or to perform certain tasks in the presence of an examiner or both.".

8. The Schedule to the Nursing Regulations is amended by omitting Form B.
