REGULATIONS UNDER THE NURSING HOMES ASSISTANCE ACT 1974.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Nursing Homes Assistance Act 1974.

Amendments of the Nursing Homes Assistance Regulations

1. Regulation 5a of the Nursing Homes Assistance Regulations is repealed and the following regulation substituted:—

Prescribed rate for the purposes of paragraph 13 (1) (a) of the Act.

“ 5a. The rate of $43.50 per week is prescribed for the purposes of paragraph 13 (1) (a) of the Act ”.

Rate for the purposes of paragraph 13 (1) (d) of the Act.

2.Regulation 6 of the Nursing Homes Assistance Regulations is amended by omitting the table and substituting the following table:—

3Schedule 2 to the Nursing Homes Assistance Regulations is repealed and the following Schedule substituted:—
