I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Nursing Homes Assistance Act 1974.

Commencement

1.These Regulations shall come into operation on 14 November 1985.

Principal Regulations

2.In these Regulations, "Principal Regulations" means the Nursing Homes Assistance Regulations.

Prescribed rate for the purposes of paragraph 13 (1) (a) of the Act

3. Regulation 5a of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "$95.55" and substituting "$98.70".

Rate for the purposes of paragraph 13 (1) (d) of the Act

4.Regulation 6 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting the table and substituting the following table:
