NURSING HOMES ACT 1988—REGULATION

(Relating to fees)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Nursing Homes Act 1988, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 29th January, 1993.

Amendment
2. The Nursing Homes Regulation 1990 is amended by omitting from clause 5 (b) the matter “$555” and by inserting instead the matter

“$525”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

Section 5 (2) of the Nursing Homes Act 1988 provides that an application for a

licence for a nursing home is to be accompanied by such application fee as may be

prescribed by the regulations.

The object of this Regulation is to amend clause 5 (b) of the Nursing Homes

Regulation 1990 to decrease the application fee for a nursing home from $555 to
$525.
