His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Nursing Homes Act 1988.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Nursing Homes Regulation 1996 so as to increase the following fees:

(a) application fees for licences for nursing homes,
(b) application fees for the transfer of licences for nursing homes,
(c) annual licence fees for nursing homes.

This Regulation is made under the Nursing Homes Act 1988, and, in particular, under sections 5 (Application for licence), 14 (Annual licence fees), 15 (Transfer of licence to another licensee) and 52 (the general regulation–making power).
