s1 2 s3 Nursing Amendment (No. 4) No. 385, 1994 ˙ Short title 1. This by-law may be cited as the Nursing Amendment By-law (No. 4) 1994 . ˙ By-law amended 2. This by-law amends the Nursing By-law 1993 . ˙ Insertion of new s 64A 3. After section 64— insert — ˙ ‘ Refund of proportion of annual licence fee ‘ 64A.(1) If— (a) on the application of a nurse—the Council cancels the nurse’s registration or enrolment; or (b) on the application of a midwife—the Council revokes the midwife’s authority to practice; the Council must refund to the nurse or midwife the amount stated in subsection (2). ‘ (2) The amount to be refunded is the following proportion of the full fee, according to the period in which the registration or enrolment was cancelled or authority to practice was revoked— (a) from 1 July to 30 September—75%; (b) from 1 October to 31 December—50%; (c) from 1 January to 31 March—25%; (d) from 1 April to 30 June—0%. ‘ (3) In subsection (2)— “full fee” means the annual licence certificate fee payable for registration, enrolment or authority to practise midwifery for a full year.’.
