(Fees) Regulation 2009

Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Nurses and Midwives Act 1991.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Nurses and Midwives Regulation 2008 so as to increase certain fees payable under the Nurses and Midwives Act 1991 in respect of the registration and enrolment of nurses and midwives.

This Regulation is made under the Nurses and Midwives Act 1991, including section 78 (the general regulation-making power) and sections 18 (1), 19 (1), 24 (1), 27 (1), 28 and 33 (1) and (4).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Nurses and Midwives Amendment (Fees)
Regulation 2009.

2      Commencement

(1) This Regulation (except for clause 3 (2)) commences on 1 May 2009
and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.
(2) Clause 3 (2) commences on 1 June 2009.

3 Amendment of Nurses and Midwives Regulation 2008

(1) Schedule 3 Fees

Omit “$80” wherever occurring in the matter relating to sections 18 (1),

19 (1), 24 (1), 27 (1), 28 and 33 (4).

Insert instead “$105”.

(2) Schedule 3
Omit “$70” from the matter relating to section 33 (1).
Insert instead “$95”.
