[ASSENTED TO 24TH NOVEMBER, 1938.] B E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. This Act may be cited as "The Nurses and Short title Masseurs Registration Acts Amendment Act of 1938," and t t' and shall be read as one with t" The Nurses and Masseurs cons ruc Ion. The Prinoipal Aot is hereby amended by the insertion therein after seotion eight of the following new seotion numbered SA, namely : - Upenrrseognisntoerted "[8A.] (1.) No person shall wear a nurse's oap to wear unless suoh .person is registered under this Aot as a nurse's cltp. nurse: Provided that nothing in this seotion shall apply to a member of a religious order who wears a habit to conform to the requirements or oustom of suoh order, nor to any person who, when taking part in a religious rite, wears any raiment oustomary or neoessary therefor. (2.) For the purposes of this seotion the term "nurse's oap" means the cap commonly worn by trained nurses consisting of a pieoe of white material so folded that when worn portion thereof hangs to or below the shoulder."
