NURSES ACT 1991—REGULATION

(Relating to fees)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Nurses Act 1991, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Amendments to commence on 1 January 1993

1. (1) This clause commences on 1 January 1993.

(2) The Nurses Regulation 1992 is amended:

(a)

by omitting from clauses 11 (1) (b) and 12 (1) (b) the matter “$42” wherever occurring and by inserting the matter “$45”;

(b)

by omitting from clause 14 the matter “$32” and by inserting instead the matter “$35”.

Amendments to commence on 1 February 1993

2. (1) This clause commences on 1 February 1993.

(2) The Nurses Regulation 1992 is further amended by omitting from

clauses 5 (1) and (2) and 15 the matter “$42” wherever occurring and by
inserting instead the matter “$45”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Nurses Regulation 1992:

(a) to increase, from 1 January 1993, the fee for enrolment in List “A” or “B”

of the Roll of Nurses and the annual practising fee; and

(b) to increase, from 1 February 1993, the fees for registration and for
