HEREAS it is desirable to amend Act No. 194 of 1880, and &m.

W to further promote the cultivntion of sugarcane and other tropical products, and to enable lands selected or to be selected

under the said Act, in the Northern Territory, to be vorked in large blocks-Be it therefore Enacted by the Governor of the Province of South Australia, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in this present Parliament assembled, as follows:

1. If any person or company shall become entitled by transfer, cm&tirnormtnat

tion, cultivation, amount to be expended, and quantity of products to be obtained from the said sections or blocks shall be deemed to apply to such sections or blocks of land as a whole in the same manner ss if all of such sections or blocks had been lawfully selected and hcld under one contract.
