HER,EAS it is expedient and necessary to provide by some Preamble,

and notification, in that part of the Province of South Australia com-

monly called and known as b & 'She Northern Territory," of certain matters and things required by law to be published and notified in the Government Gazette-Be it tlierefcre dnacted by the Governor of the Province of South Australia, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly of the

said Province, in this present Parliament assembled, as follows:

the Act, Ordinance, Statute, Law, Regulation, custom, or usage,

directing or requiring such publication or notification.

3. The production of any such newspaper as aforesaid, containing

notified under the authority of the Government Resident, shall be

prima facie evidence in all Courts of Justice that the publication or

notification was duly authorized by such Government Resident.
