Commencement Proclamation

under the

NSW Lotteries (Authorised Transaction) Act 2009 No 60

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the NSW Lotteries (Authorised Transaction) Act 2009, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 29 April 2010 as the day on which section 27 of that Act and Schedule 5.2 to that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the remaining uncommenced provisions of the NSW Lotteries (Authorised Transaction) Act 2009 that relate to the following:

(a)	the repeal of the New South Wales Lotteries Corporatisation Act 1996,
(b)	the removal of the provision that presently constitutes the New South Wales Lotteries Corporation as being a statutory State owned corporation.
