I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 10 of the NSW Grain Corporation Holdings Limited Act 1992, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 30 September 1992 for the purposes of that section.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The NSW Grain Corporation Holdings Limited Act 1992 provides for the sale of

the Government’s shareholding in NSW Grain Corporation Holdings Limited, the holding company of NSW Grain Corporation Limited. Section 10 of the Act provides that, as from a day appointed by proclamation, the name of the corporation will be omitted from Schedule 1 to the State Owned Corporations Act 1989. This is the means by which the corporation ceases to be a State owned corporation. The
object of this Proclamation is to appoint 30 September 1992 as the day for the
purposes of section 10.
