NOTICE OF RESERVATION OF CAPACITY FOR NATIONAL RADIO BROADCASTING SERVICES (No. 1 of 2002)

I, RICHARD KENNETH ROBERT ALSTON, Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts, acting under subsection 31(1) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992:

(a)revoke the Notice of Reservation of Capacity for National Radio Broadcasting Services (No. 1 of 1997); and

(b)notify the Australian Broadcasting Authority that capacity in the broadcasting services bands is to be reserved in relation to the city, town, suburb or other area or location specified in column 2 of an item in the Schedule in the State or Territory specified in column 3 of that item, for the number of national radio broadcasting services that are specified:

(i)                 in column 6 of that item as AM radio services; and

(ii)                in column 7 of that item as FM radio services.

[Note: The material in columns 4 and 5 of the Schedule refers to existing or proposed transmitter site descriptions and names and is for information only.]
