Notice of Final Determination

under the

Threatened Species Conservation Act 1995

The Scientific Committee established under the Threatened Species Conservation Act 1995 has made final determinations to insert the species referred to in paragraphs (a)–(e) as vulnerable species under that Act and, accordingly, Schedule 2 to that Act is amended as follows:

(a) by inserting in Part 1 in alphabetical order under the heading “Accipitridae” (under the heading “Birds”):

Circus assimilis Jardine & Selby, 1828	Spotted Harrier
Hieraaetus morphnoides (Gould, 1841)	Little Eagle

(b) by inserting in Part 1 in alphabetical order under the heading “Petroicidae” (under the heading “Birds”):

Petroica boodang (Lesson, 1838)	Scarlet Robin
Petroica phoenicea Gould, 1837	Flame Robin

(c) by inserting in Part 1 before the heading “Pachycephalidae” (under the heading “Birds”):

Neosittidae

Daphoenositta chrysoptera (Latham, 1802) Varied Sittella

(d) by inserting in Part 1 in alphabetical order under the heading “Myrtaceae” (under the heading “Plants”):

Eucalyptus aggregata Deane & Maiden Black Gum
