Notice of Determination

under the

Threatened Species Conservation Act 1995

The Scientific Committee established under the Threatened Species Conservation Act 1995 has made a determination to amend the descriptions of certain species referred to in paragraphs (a)–(d) below pursuant to section 36A (1) (a) of the Act (being amendments that are necessary or desirable to reflect changes in the name of species, or a reclassification of any such species into further species, as a result of taxonomic revision).

(a)	Part 1 of Schedule 1 to that Act is amended by inserting the following in appropriate order in the matter relating to Malvaceae under the heading Plants:
*	Commersonia prostrata (Maiden & Betche) C.F. Wilkins & Whitlock
(b)	Part 1 of Schedule 1 to that Act is amended by omitting the following from under the heading Plants:

Sterculiaceae

*	Rulingia prostrata Maiden & Betche
(c)	Part 1 of Schedule 2 to that Act is amended by inserting the following in appropriate order under the heading Plants:

Malvaceae

*	Commersonia procumbens (Maiden & Betche) Guymer
(d)	Part 1 of Schedule 2 to that Act is amended by omitting the following matter relating to Sterculianceae from under the heading Plants:
*	Rulingia procumbens Maiden & Betche

This Notice commences on the day on which it is published in the Gazette.
