Notice of Determination

under the

Threatened Species Conservation Act 1995

The Scientific Committee established under the Threatened Species Conservation Act 1995 (the Act) has made a determination to amend or omit the descriptions of certain species referred to in paragraphs (a) and (b) below pursuant to section 36A (1) (a) of the Act (being amendments or omissions that are necessary or desirable to reflect any change in the name of a species, or a reclassification of any such species into further species, as a result of taxonomic revision).

(a)	Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the Act is amended as follows:
(i) Omit the following from under the heading “Molossidae” (under the headings “Animals, “Vertebrates” and “Mammals”):

Mormopterus “Species 6” Hairy-nosed Freetail Bat

Insert instead:

Mormopterus eleryi Reardon	Bristle-faced free-tailed bat,
and McKenzie, 2008	Hairy-nosed Freetail Bat

(ii)      Omit the following from under the heading “Acanthaceae” (under the

(iii)      Omit the following from under the heading “Apiaceae” (under the heading “Plants”):

* Trachymene saniculifolia Stapf

Insert instead:

* Trachymene scapigera (Domin) B.L. Burtt

(iv)      Omit the following from under the heading “Goodeniaceae” (under the heading “Plants”):

Goodenia sp. ‘Nocoleche’ (JLP 210)

Insert instead in alphabetical order:

Goodenia nocoleche Pellow & J.L. Porter

(v)      Omit the following from under the heading “Myrsinaceae” (under the heading “Plants”):

* Rapanea sp. A Richmond River (J.H. Maiden & J.L.
Boorman NSW 26751)

Insert instead:

* Myrsine richmondensis Jackes

(vi)      Omit the following from under the heading “Podocarpaceae” (under the

Insert instead in alphabetical order:

Tarenna cameronii (C. T. White) Ali & Robbr.

Insert instead:

Triflorensia cameronii (C. T. White) S. T. Reynolds

(b)	Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the Act is amended as follows:
(i) Omit the following from under the heading “Vespertilionidae” (under the headings “Animals, “Vertebrates” and “Mammals”):

Myotis adversus (Horsfield,	Large-footed Myotis
1824)

Insert instead:

Myotis macropus (Gould,	Southern Myotis
1855)

(ii)      Omit the following from under the heading “Proteaceae” (under the

Insert instead:

Amorphospermum whitei Aubrev.

Insert instead:
