I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State
of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in

pursuance of section 6A of the Northumberland Insurance Company Limited Act 1975, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 16 March 1995 as the day on or after which the Northumberland Insurance Company Limited may be dissolved.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The Northumberland Insurance Company Limited Act 1975 empowers the liquidator

of the Northumberland Insurance Company Limited to satisfy liabilities arising out of
policies of insurance issued by the Company. Section 6A of the Act provides that the
Company cannot be dissolved until the day appointed for its dissolution is notified in
the Gazette. The purpose of this Proclamation is to appoint the day on or after which the
Northumberland Insurance Company Limited may be dissolved.
