I, Jenny Macklin, Minister for Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs, make this Declaration under paragraph 19(1)(b) of the Northern Territory National Emergency Response Act 2007.

1. Name of Declaration

This Declaration is the Northern Territory National Emergency Response (Ranger Project Area) Declaration 2010 (No. 1).

2.   Commencement

This Declaration commences on the day after it is registered.

3.   Provisions which cease to have effect in relation to part of a prescribed area

Pursuant to paragraph 19(1)(b) of the Northern Territory National Emergency Response Act 2007 I declare that Division 2 of Part 2 of the Northern Territory National Emergency Response Act 2007 ceases to have effect in relation to the part of a prescribed area specified in the Schedule to this Declaration.
