I, MALCOLM THOMAS BROUGH, Minister for Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs, make this Declaration under paragraph 4(4)(a) of the Northern Territory National Emergency Response Act 2007.

1              Name of Declaration

This Declaration is the Northern Territory National Emergency Response (Other Areas) Declaration 2007 (No. 5).

2              Commencement

This Declaration commences on the day after it is registered.

3              Dugong Beach Resort and fishing camp

For paragraph 4(4)(a) of the Northern Territory National Emergency Response Act 2007, the area described in Schedule 1 is not a prescribed area.

Commencing from the North Western corner of Northern Territory portion 1479 (MGA94 652676.62E 8469528.32N) hence along the Western boundary of Northern Territory portion 1479 at 210 degrees 04 minutes 20 seconds true mid bearing for 790.405 metres to the high water mark which is the South Western corner of Northern Territory portion 1479 (MGA94 652280.55E 8468844.31N).

Hence on the continuation of the Western boundary of Northern Territory portion 1479 at 210 degrees 04 minutes 20 seconds true mid bearing to the intersection with the low water mark being the boundary of Northern Territory portion 1632 approximately 25.595 metres (MGA94 652267.73E 8468822.16N).

Hence along the boundary of Northern Territory portion 1632 being the low water mark in a northerly direction to a position at the intersection of the boundary of Northern Territory portion 1632 on the low water mark and the continuation of the Northern boundary of Northern Territory portion 1479 from the North Western corner of Northern Territory portion 1479 at 300 degrees 04 minutes 20 seconds (MGA94 652283.52E 8469755.45N).

Hence at 120 degrees 04 minutes 20 seconds for approximately 454 metres to the point of commencement (MGA94 652676.62E 8469528.32N).

The total area of land is approximately 22.27 hectares.
