REGULATIONS
UNDER THE NORTHERN TERRITORY (ADMINISTRATION) ACT 1910-1959.*
I, THE
GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations
under the NorthernTerritory (Administration) Act 1910-1959.

Amendment of the Northern Territory Legislative Council (Fees and Expenses) Regulations.
Commencement.
1. These Regulations shall be deemed to
have come into operation on the first day of July, 1958.
Transport
expenses of elected member of Council.
2. Regulation 7 of the Northern Territory
Legislative Council (Fees and Expenses) Regulations is amended by omitting
paragraph (b) of
sub-regulation (1.) and inserting in its stead the following paragraph:—
“(b) the payment to the member of a mileage
allowance, in accordance with the following table, for so much of the whole, or
the part, of the journey as was made by means of a motor vehicle not engaged in
public transport:—
