Northern Territory Electoral Regulations (Amendment) (Cth)
REGULATIONS UNDER THE NORTHERN TERRITORY REPRESENTATION ACT 1922
AND THE COMMONWEALTH ELECTORAL ACT 1918

Amendments of the Northern
Territory
Electoral Regulations
1. Regulation 3 of the Northern Territory Electoral Regulations is repealed.
2. Regulation 4 of the Northern Territory Electoral Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1) the definition of “District” and substituting the following definition:“ ‘District’ means a District of the Territory referred to in regulation 11A;”.
3. After regulation 11 of the Northern Territory Electoral Regulations the following regulation is inserted in Part III:
“11A. (1) The Territory shall be divided into such Districts as the Minister determines by notice published in the Gazette.
“(2) The boundaries of each District shall be as set out in the notice referred to in sub‑regulation (1).”.
4. The Second Schedule to the Northern Territory Electoral Regulations is amended —
(a) by omitting the item relating to section 151 and the item relating to section 152;
(b) by omitting from the first column “
Forms ”; and(c) by omitting the item relating to Form G.
