An Act to amend " D i e Northern Territory Amendment Act, 1868."

[Assented to, 26th October, 1871.1

(AS it is expedient to extend the time prescribed in Reable.

" The Northern Territory Amendment Act, 1868," during Territory-Be it therefore Enacted by the Governor of the Province of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly of the said Province in this present Parliament assembled, as follows:

notice in writing, within the time fixed by "The Northern Territory

eight hundred and seventy-two, give notice in writing, of their

desire to accept the increased area granted by the said Act, shall for every land order issued under ' l The Northern Territory Act,"

and held by them, be entitled to select an area of three hundred

and twenty acres of country lands and one town lot in lieu of one hundred and sixty acres of country land, and one town lot to which

they would otherwise be entitled. Provided that such persons shall be entitled to select the same without ballot from such country

lot, the right o f priority of selection shdl be decided by lot.
