AN ACT to authorise the Construction of a

Railway from Northam to Goomalling.

[Assented to, 16th December, ig99.]

E it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and

with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of -Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

Preamble.

1. THIS Act may be cited as the Northam–Goomalling Railway

Act, 1899.

3. IT shall lie lawful for the Commissioner of Railways to

deviate from the line as described in such Schedule to the extent

of five miles on either side thereof.

SCHEDULE.

NORTHAM—GOOMALLING RAILWAY.

DESCRIPTION OF LINE OF RAILWAY.

Commencing at a point on the Yilgarn Railway at or near East Northam Station, and proceeding thence in a generally North-North-Easterly direction for about 30 miles, and terminating at a point in Reserve 1562 at or near the junction of the main road from Newcastle to Goomalling with the main road from Northam to Goomalling, as more particularly delineated by a red line on Map marked P.W.D., W.A., 7094, deposited as provided for by 55° Victorim, No. 34, Section 10.
