I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Non-Indigenous Animals Act 1987, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 7 October 1994 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Non-Indigenous Animals Act 1987. Sections 1 and 2 of the Act commenced on the date of assent (25 November 1987), and Parts 1 (sections 1 and 2 excepted) and 2, section 29 and Schedules 1 and 2 commenced on 1 July 1988.
