NOISE CONTROL ACT 1975—REGULATION

(Relating to fees)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Noise Control Act 1975, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 1 January 1991.

Amendment

2. The Noise Control Regulation 1975 is amended by omitting from each provision specified in Column 1 of the Schedule to this Regulation the matter specified in Column 2 of that Schedule and by inserting instead the matter specified in Column 3 of that Schedule.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to increase (by 100 per cent) the maximum

penalties for certain offences arising under the Noise Control Regulation 1975.
