Noise Abatement (Noise Labelling of

Equipment) Amendment Regulations 2014

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Noise Abatement (Noise Labelling of
Equipment) Amendment Regulations 2014.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day fixed under the Road Traffic (Administration) Act 2008 section 2(b).

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Noise Abatement (Noise Labelling
of Equipment) Regulations (No. 2) 1985.

4.             Schedule 1 amended

In Schedule 1 item 1 delete “registered under the Road Traffic

Act 1974 as a trailer or vehicle for movement on public roads.” and

insert:

licensed under the Road Traffic (Vehicles) Act 2012 Part 2 as a
vehicle that can be used on a road as defined in the Road Traffic
(Administration) Act 2008 section 4.
