[NEWCASTLE SEWERAGE
(REVESTING) ACT.
Act No. 29, 1934.
An Act to provide for the revesting of certain Qe^rge v,

■TTTHEREAS by a notification of resumption under Preamble,
and in pursuance of the Public ^Vorks Act, 1912, published in the Government Gazette of the twentieth ■day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, the land described in the Schedule to this Act was, together with other lands, resumed for a certain public purpose, namely, the construction and maintenance of works authorised by the Newcastle and Suburbs Sewerage Amplification Act, 1928: And whereas it has been found that the said land is not required for the said purpose and it is desired to revest the same in the persons who were entitled thereto at the time of the said resumption: Be it therefore enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis lative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. This Act may be cited as the “ Newcastle Sewerage short title.
(Revesting) Act, 1934.”
2. On the passing of this Act, the land described in the Eevesting.
Schedule hereto shall revest in the persons who were
entitled

entitled thereto at the time of such resumption as afore said and for such estates and interests and with and sub ject to such rights as were subsisting in respect of the said land at the time of such resumption, and such land shall be subject to all trusts, obligations, estates, inter ests, contracts, charges, rates, rights-of-way or other easements from which it was freed and discharged by such resumption as if the said land had not been resumed, and shall also be subject to any interests in or equities binding on the compensation moneys created since the said resumption.
SCHEDULE.
A ll that piece or parcel of land situate in the parish of Newcastle,
county of Northumberland, and State of New South Wales, being part
of portion 26a comprised in deed registered book 144, No. 354; Com
mencing within the said portion 26a at a point bearing 222 degrees 25 minutes 30 seconds and distant 265 feet 3J inches from the western most corner of lot 9 section 8a of a subdivision of the Merewether Estate; and bounded thence on the south-east by a line bearing 194 degrees 20 minutes 46 feet 64 inches, on the south-west generally by lines successively bearing 284 degrees 20 minutes 33 feet, 194 degrees 20 minutes 16 feet 6 inches, 284 degrees 20 minutes 33 feet, 14 degrees 20 minutes 16 feet 6 inches, and 285 degrees 50 minutes 83 feet 74 inches, on the north-west bj- lines bearing 14 degrees 26 minutes 17 feet 4^ inches and 64 degrees 36 minutes 58 feet 6J inches respectively; and on the north-east by a line bearing 110 degrees 1 minute 105 feet 0-J inch, to the point of commencement, having an area of 26J perches or thereabouts, and said to be in the possession of the estate of the late- E. C. Merewether.
