An Act to repeal the New South Wales Government Engineering and Shipbuilding Undertaking Act 1943 and for assoeiated purposes. [Assented to 5 May 1987]

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the “New South Wales Government

Engineering and Shipbuilding Undertaking (Repeal) Act 1987”.

Repeals

2. (I) Each Act specified in Schedule 1 is, to the extent indicated,

repealed.

(2) A person who, immediately before the commencement of this Act,

held office as a Director of the Stale Dockyard Board of New South Wales—

(a) shall cease to hold office as such on that commencement; and

(b) is not entitled to be paid any remuneration or compensation by reason of so ceasing to hold that office.
