An Act to authorize a Treaty respecting Customs
Duties on Goods crossing the Queensland
Boundary. [Reserved—20th January, 1862.]
| the Boundary between this Colony and Queensland Be it therefore | WHEREAS it is expedient that some arrangement should be made respecting the collection of Customs Duties on Goods crossing |
| enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows :— | |
| 1. The Governor with the advice of the Executive Council may enter into a binding Treaty with the Government of the Colony of Queensland for establishing a mutual system of collecting and accounting for all Customs Duties payable to the respective Govern ments upon Goods crossing the boundary line between the said two Colonies. | |
| 2. This Act shall be styled and may be cited as the " New South Wales and Queensland Customs Act of 1862." |
