Application for approval of the Network Electrical Solutions Pty Ltd Single Enterprise Agreement 2024

1. Network Electrical Solutions Pty Ltd has applied for approval of an enterprise agreement known as the Network Electrical Solutions Pty Ltd Single Enterprise Agreement 2024 (“Agreement”). The application is made under section 185 of the Fair Work Act 2009 (“Act”). The Agreement is a single enterprise agreement.

2. Clause 26A – Workplace delegates’ rights of the Electrical, Electronic and Communications Contracting Award 2020 is taken to be a term of the Agreement. A copy of that clause is attached to the Agreement.

3. Having regard to the material in the application and accompanying declaration, I am satisfied that each of the requirements of sections 186, 187, 188 and 190 of the Act as are relevant to the application have been met.

4. The Communications, Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Information, Postal, Plumbing and Allied Services Union of Australia (“ETU”) was a bargaining representative for the Agreement. It has given notice under section 183 of the Act that it wants the Agreement to cover it. As required by section 201(2) of the Act, I note that the Agreement covers the ETU.

5. The Agreement is approved. In accordance with section 54 of the Act, the Agreement will operate from 24 July 2025. The nominal expiry date of the Agreement is 24 July 2028.
