Navy (Canteens) Regulations 2

(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Naval Defence Act 1910.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Navy (Canteens) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

 These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48]

2.   Regulation 2 (Interpretation)

2.1   Definition of “the Committee”:

Omit the definition.

3.   Regulation 10 (Recommendations by Board)

3.1   Paragraph 10 (a):

Add at the end “and”.

3.2   Paragraph 10 (b):

Add at the end “and”.

3.3   Paragraph 10 (c):

Add at the end “and”.

3.4   Paragraph 10 (d):

Omit the paragraph.

4.   Regulation 14 (Royal Australian Navy Central Canteens Committee)

4.1   Omit the regulation.

5.   Regulation 15 (Meetings of the Committee)

5.1   Omit the regulation.

6.   Regulation 16 (Functions of the Committee)

6.1   Omit the regulation.

7.   Regulation 19 (No remuneration to be paid to members of Board or Secretary)

7.1   Subregulation 19 (1):

Omit “nor of the Committee”.

7.2   Paragraph 19 (2) (a):

Omit “or of the Committee”.
