2 Navy Bean Marketing Board (Transfer of Assets No. 255, 1993 and Liabilities) ˙ Short title 1. This order in council may be cited as the Navy Bean Marketing Board (Transfer of Assets and Liabilities) Order 1993 . ˙ Commencement 2. This order in council commences on 1 April 1993. ˙ Interpretation 3. In this order in council— “the Association” means the Bean Growers’ Co-operative Association Limited; “the board” means the Navy Bean Marketing Board. ˙ Appointed day 4. 1 April 1993 is appointed as the day on and from which— (a) the property and assets of the Board shall be divested from it and shall be vested in the Association; and (b) the liabilities and obligations of the Board shall cease to be liabilities and obligations of the Board and shall be liabilities and obligations of the Association.
