Regulations (Amendment)
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following

is, or is proposed to be, engaged, to those Regulations; and".
" (a ) in the case of a space referred to in paragraph (1) (b) - the space
complies in all respects-
(i) where the ship is a ship to which the Navigation (Crew Accommodation) Regulations apply, with those Regulations; or
(ii) where the ship is not a ship to which those Regulations apply, with such requirements as are applicable, by force of law, to the ship and are certified by the Minister to be equivalent in intent, having regard to the nature of the ship and the trade in which it

2. Schedule 6 to the Navigation (Tonnage Measurement) Regulations is amended by omitting paragraphs 3 (6) (a) to (e) (inclusive) and substituting the following paragraphs:
"(a)
alteration of either or both of—
(i) crew accommodation space; and
(ii) navigational space;
(b) alteration of either or both of—
(i) propelling power space; and
(ii) light and air space;
(c) alteration of water ballast space;
(d)
alteration of any other space;".

3. Schedule7 to the Navigation (Tonnage Measurement) Regulations isamended by omitting from Form 2 "The number of seamen and apprentices for
whom accommodation is certified is
